I’ve been having a tremendously good February in Reno, Nevada.
I spent a month here for events related to my solo exhibition at the Nevada Museum of Art’s Center for Art + Environment. I dropped work off for the show at the beginning of the month, gave a public talk this week, and in the weeks in between, worked furiously to finish a painting for the exhibition.
Also in the weeks between–I played lots of music, took a couple of dips in Pyramid Lake, hiked a bit, made some amazing new friends, spent lovely time with olde friends, and ate and drank really heartily. Some pics below of the installed work (thank you to everyone involved with planning, handling, marketing, and loaning work for A Residency on Earth) and an adventure or two.
