{"id":463,"date":"2017-02-01T18:27:00","date_gmt":"2017-02-02T01:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cedrawood.com\/work\/?p=463"},"modified":"2025-04-21T07:27:22","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T13:27:22","slug":"sagehen-comix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/cedrawood.com\/work\/sagehen-comix\/","title":{"rendered":"SAGEHEN COMIX"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Created at the <a href=\"https:\/\/sagehen.ucnrs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sagehen Creek Field Station<\/a> (Truckee, CA) in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baldwinpage.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Christopher Baldwin<\/a>, these comics served as single-page distillations of a selection of the Sagehen archives&#8217; site-specific thesis papers, with the goal of making the station&#8217;s research immediately and quickly accessible to laypersons. Each comic marries the date of the paper&#8217;s publication with a period-appropriate comic style, from the 50&#8217;s to the 90&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
