Created at the Sagehen Creek Field Station (Truckee, CA) in collaboration with Christopher Baldwin, these comics served as single-page distillations of a selection of the Sagehen archives’ site-specific thesis papers, with the goal of making the station’s research immediately and quickly accessible to laypersons. Each comic marries the date of the paper’s publication with a period-appropriate comic style, from the 50’s to the 90’s.
